Airport Berlin still costs 770 million more

The new airport in Berlin is now expected to cost almost 7.

Since 2006, the third largest airport in Germany has been working. When the first spade went into the ground, the project had a price tag of 2 billion. Wrong planning, delays, building errors and expansions pushed the bill over the years. The latest business plan will be submitted to the Supervisory Board next Friday.

Those who pay for the last additional costs are still under negotiation. The states of Berlin and Brandenburg and the German government would have to pay half of that amount as owners, as a loan or as an extra contribution, that is not clear.
