Air attack kills assaulter USS Cole

Jamal al-Badawi, a supporter of al-Qaeda who was involved in the bombing of the American warship USS Cole in 2000, was killed by an air raid by the American.

Jamal al-Badawi was sentenced to death in 2003 by a US court for terror-related offenses, including murder. In the attack on the USS Cole, seventeen American soldiers were killed and forty people were injured. Jamal al-Badawi was held in Yemen, but was released in 2004.
