Again rescued boat people in Italy

Aid organizations have sat in the Sicilian Channel rescued three hundred boat people.

Doctors Without Borders, who was involved in the rescue operation off the Libyan coast, spoke of a 'nightmare. '

The common refugee Libya-Italy route was one of the main topics of discussion at the European summit in Malta Friday. Europe wants to work more closely with the Libyan authorities to curb illegal immigration. One of the plans is to better arm the Libyan coast guard personnel by ships, money and training. That way, Tripoli would be better able to intercept the boats with refugees all from the beginning and bring the people back to Libya.
