After rainfall now heat and water shortages in Japan

After the unprecedented heavy rainfall and flooding, the disaster area in western Japan is now plagued by great heat and a lack of clean (drinking) water.

More than 200,000 households sit down for a week after heavy rainfall without water. The temperatures rise to over 30 degrees Celsius and in combination with the high humidity makes life in the reception centers not easy. The government has sent tankers with water to the affected areas.
