Adidas says sorry for mail Boston Marathon

Sporting goods manufacturer Adidas has apologized Tuesday for a marketing email sent to the company to members of the Boston Marathon.

On social media was fully shared this congratulatory email with the word 'survived' the wrong way of putting many people. Social Media Users Adidas being that the true survivors were the participants of the 2013 edition, US media reported.

At the Boston Marathon that year three people were killed and more than 260 injured in two bomb explosions near the finish line.

In an e-mail and in a tweet Adidas said he regretted the words chosen in the sent congratulatory mail ' sorry lot. It is clear that we not thought about the insensitive phrase in the email we sent Tuesday. We apologize for our mistake. '
