Abdeslam would already surrender in autumn

Salah Abdeslam, the only surviving member of the terrorist cell behind the attacks in Paris, wanted to negotiate for several days after the attacks on his surrender.

A self-proclaimed cousin Abdeslam taken just after the attacks of 13 November in touch with a lawyer Sven Mary. He asked to mediate between the counsel fugitive terror suspect and justice, Mary told the Belgian newspaper. The major operation of the Brussels police a few days later, which were carried out numerous searches, threw a spanner in the works, thinks Mary. The contact was broken and only recovered after the arrest of Abdeslam in March, when Mary accepted his defense.
