Abandoned migrants die in desert

More than fifty refugees have probably died in the Sahara desert in northern Niger after being abandoned by smugglers.

The victims were part of a convoy of three pickup trucks carrying more than seventy migrants through Libya to the Libya. However, the drivers left them in the middle of the area.

Of the migrants, 23 reached a place to reach and alarmed. Of the fifteen refugees, it has now been established that they died of thirst. The rest is still being searched.
