400 prisoners escaped from Tripoli prison

At least four hundred prisoners were escaped from a jail in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Sunday after a prison revolt.

In the prison, the police said the whole week was unsettled. Several times fighting broke out between rival militias, a number of people were killed.

On Sunday there was a big riot in prison, after which the prisoners forced the door and escaped. The prison is located in the south of Tripoli.
