150 houses London underwater

In the north of the British capital London on Sunday 150 homes flooded after a break in a water main.

It is the third time within a week that a water main has jumped in London. This happened Saturday in Blackheath in southeastern and Monday in Islington in north London. The director of water company Thames Water spoke of an 'extremely difficult week', especially for the customers, so shortly before Christmas.

The water company is investigating the cause of the pipeline ruptures. Some water pipes in London are 'thick over a hundred years old,' said director Bob Collington.
