BOSTON - Squirrels in the US city of Boston seem obsessed with dramatic lighting that adorns the large trees on the street. They gnaw constantly cables through which one will be placed after the other tree in the dark.
The city officials speak of a plague. In the center of Boston and in particular in a historic park for about sixty strong, caparisoned Christmas trees. From one after another is coming on the light at night suddenly.
The administrator of the trees had invented a product based on cutting red peppers, but the squirrels take little heed of and gnaw cheerfully. The experts say the rodents are fond of the taste of the buyer.
