moscow - Russia questions the conclusion of the OPCW, the chemical weapons ban organization, that nerve gas has been used in Syrian Khan Sheikhoun. The Russian Ministry of Defense, according to TASS press office, said OPCW researchers had not traveled to the place of the attack.

The OPCW said this week that the attack, involving tens of deaths, the chemical weapon sarin or a similar means was used. The findings of the organization, based in The Hague, correspond to previous investigations in Turkish and UK laboratories.

Yet, Moscow is skeptical about the investigation. 'Where do the monsters come from?', A Russian defense spokesman asked himself out loud. He said that no OPCW representative has been identified in Khan Sheikhoun over the last two weeks. The spokesman also concluded that the OPCW suspects was quick to finish the investigation.
