BERLIN - Justice in Germany have arrested a 24-year-old Moroccan who is suspected of links with the perpetrators of the attack a year ago in Paris. The prosecutor showed Wednesday that the man was arrested in Lower Saxony and that he was probably a member of the terrorist group Islamic State.
He was between October 2014 and the spring of 2015 apartments rented in Turkey and Greece. Terrorists would have prepared attacks in those buildings.
The prosecutor explained no connection between the Moroccan and the attack on the Christmas market in Berlin Monday. The arrest warrant against the man was last week issued.
