Journalist after 2.5 years free in South Sudan

juba - The South Sudanese government released a journalist working for the UN after two and a half years of imprisonment on Friday. George Livio, who worked for radio Miraya, was arrested in August 2014 but never brought to justice.

Daniƫl Dickinson, spokesman for the UN Mission in South Sudan (Unmiss), confirmed the release of Livio. 'We are now looking at how we can help him. ''
