Jewish Israelis arrested for racist violence

beersheba - The Israeli police arrested six Jewish inhabitants of Beersheba, suspected of a series of attacks on Arabs. The newspaper Haaretz reported Sunday that the six would have robbed their victims of knives, sticks, metal pipes and other weapons.

In December 2016, the sixth would have begun violent acts against Arab inhabitants of Beersheba. According to the police, the suspects wanted to prevent Jews from mixing with Arabs.

Among the suspects are two military officers.
