First images Tomb Raider movie

- Fifteen years after Angelina Jolie for the last time on the big screen showed as Lara Croft, the first images released of the new Tomb Raider movie with Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, known from The Danish Girl and Ex Machina, starring when famed game heroine.

The new Tomb Raider reboot is based on who got the game series in 2013. The 21-year-old Lara is trying to figure out what happened to her father, who disappeared when she was a small child. Before the young woman should follow in his footsteps and solve the mystery through which the adventurer was obsessed before his disappearance.

Roar Uthaug (The Wave and Escape) directs the film. Dominic West (The Wire and The Affair) the role will itself take the eccentric Lord Richard Croft. Walton Goggins (the hateful eight plays Father Mathias Vogel and Daniel Wu (Warcraft) is ship captain Lu Ren.
