BERLIN - The Pakistani who was briefly detained by police after the attack in Berlin but nothing appeared to have the terror act of doing, says he was abused by German police. Naveed Baloch says he was beaten partly because he refused to undress and take a picture.
So says the 24-year-old Baloch in an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian.
Baloch just came from a friend when he was in the vicinity of the attack on the Christmas market, where twelve people were killed in the street was arrested by the police. According to Baloch gave all identity papers he had with him, he was initially released again but immediately afterwards still included. Police officers would have planted their heels in his foot and hand have pushed hard on his neck.
The Pakistani is in hiding, according to the newspaper. He comes from the tumultuous state of Baluchistan where regular attacks perpetrated by religious extremists. He was a refugee in Germany, but now does not feel safe anymore.
