Carnival Parade canceled in Rheinberg

- The refugee crisis is the celebration of Carnival in Germany. The site of Rheinberg, near Duisburg, has fearing problems like the carnival in Cologne canceled, German media reported Thursday. It is the first city in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia which deletes the carnival.

The municipality and the chairman of the carnival, Paul Holt, fear that it can not be excluded that there are states such as New Year's Eve in Cologne, the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia. The procession is canceled because Van Holt is not enough time to comply with the safety measures required by the municipality. Near Rheinberg is a refugee center and the city feared visit of problem groups During the carnival celebration.
